I vote for the UGP Doyles as well. These things look and feel like a skateboard shoe, but are designed for the water.

scar 11, you don't have to have wakeskate specific/inspired shoes. But from my experience, two benefits include the fact that most will dry faster than a normal skate shoe, and they also tend to hold a bit less water (depending on design, of course). I guess those two features go hand in hand...

The DVS mesh triumphs dry really quick, and look magnificient on my feet, which is really nice. And I can say that the UGP shoes hold very little water and are also really comfy. On the flip side, I've rode in normal skate shoes like my dills, novas or Kostons and all take longer to dry, even in front of a fan.

I still want a pair of those buywake kenyans...they're really cheap right now, too.

Calskater23, any shoe will work. those will hold water. they aren't mesh. get the mesh milans or dresdens.

I just took my old Adio 50/50's and drilled some 3/8" holes in the bottom. They work great. Would love the Doyles but can't afford em right now

scar_11, you should try taking all the foam in the inside of the shoe out, you could also drill holes in the bottom to help with drainage.

OR

you could buy a set of these like i did.
