does anyone on here have a subwoofer in the car or boat? i have had one for the last year and i dont think i could listen to music without it now.

what kind of sub does anyone have?

12" Memphis M1, Directed 600D powering it in my mustang. it thumps alright...im about to get a JL 500/1 to put in there, then it will beat.

i have 2 10" kickers in my truck and i agree music just isnt the same with out them

alot of people here with subs put the base so dam high its crazy over kill, but I dont have one, alot of my friends have them.

CrzyTexan, Kickers put out huge SPL but there SQ is garbage, my only beef with them.

lake weir ocala FL, i have to agree. quantity of sound is much higher than quality with kickers. if i was goin to buy anotherone (which i am not planning on anytime soon) i would either go with this new infinity model or the alpine type r

i had a kenwood 12 in a custom box with plexiglass and all that with a 450watt kenwood amp. It bumped pretty damn good. Someone stole it out of my truck last week. Fckers. I miss the thump. Its all treble now. Evil or Very Mad
