heck no it wasn't hacked--that was all my doing. I was at work one morning and they played "don't turn around" and since I was a huge stinking ace of base fan (right down to buying a crap load of CD single imports, and buying their European version album when I went to england a few years ago), I thought that would be funny. I consider my sense of humor to be eclectic. And I like having some sort of visual to go along with the article or whatever is posted, and I didn't have anything for that worlds info. And three posts without pictures on the front page would not make the eyes dance.

So ace of base album covers it was.

And forever will be.

when i used to live in europe for three years (92-95) i manage to get all kinds of stuff that is still weird today. ive got a few beastie boys and run dmc stuff that you could only get at a european virgin records store.

yo Jamie....instead of pirating copyrighted photos of lame Swedish bands, why not just have ws.comers send in sexy glam photos of themselves to use next time you need a "filler" images?

I have plenty of them. I would upload some of them now for you to use, but I need to go watch Scalett Johnanson on SNL......word!!

Ace of base? Maybe. I'll own that shizzle all day. But I will not take any sort of fall from those blasted beanie babies. Eff those.

But hey, devotid, those odds and ends sound cool. I still love collecting imports. They're just something different for me, and that is all.

"OMG MFs", i saw one skit from SNL and I was too pooped to keep my eyes open (of course, now I'm on the internet at 1.30 am). It was where they "was" dress shopping, and it was scarlet as a young white hoochie and keenan thompson as a dedicated momma with a 'tude (and a backwards thong, apparently). That skit was comedy gold!! Oh man...

Now, as for my (ahem) "pirated shots of lame swedish bands" I almost feel as though that comment isn't worthy of a reply. (of course I'm giving you a hard time here). But here's the thing, this shizzle ended up way funnier than I could have ever hoped. And wakeskating.com is not about fashion parades, even though we do celebrate style and panache (even if it comes from a mid-90s swedish singing sensation). Sure, you may not be laughing, but when I see my old singles on the front page, I smile. And I showed my older brother today and he laughed, but he gets me.

You and many others may not.

Anyway, like black label says "never forget."

And of course, we're talking about the glory, style and majesty that is, was, and forever will be...

hahaha, I could not argue against the david bowie shot.

Like two years ago I put up a link from some article that was in an orlando news paper and I wanted a visual for the front page. I had been looking through some old waterski magazines and they had this wetsuit section from 1990 or 91, and this goofy looking guy was doing that pee wee herman dance. Anyway, I cropped the shot and used his face as my visual aid. The david bowie shot just reminded me of that. Very Happy
