I have no idea why I had high expectations for this show. Man was I let down. Ryan Sheckler is one complaining little VAG.
“But mom…I don’t want to go on an all-expense trip to Dubai or Japan, I want to stay here and gloat in self pity.”
Okay…his parents got divorced…but COME ON!!! When he complains about his life, I just want to stab my eyes with a blunt remote.
That kid has a lifetime to settle down with a steady lady friend. My advice to him would be to plunder as much primetime VAG as humanly possible; rock out, and wallow in self pity when you’re a burnt out has-been.

Having your parents get divorced these days is just as big of a letdown as your grandma buying you the wrong size t-shirt for christmas.
What a sell-out. Im still boycotting Mtv so I refuse to watch that show or Rob and Big. |

TAD, seriously..my rent's got divorced like 5 years ago...it really wasnt a big deal to me. i actually liked it in a way, there was no more arguements in teh house and stuff...my mom and dad were happier because of it, as am I. never will i ever use an excuse to explain how i am feeling, there is always a way to be happy, no matter what...i cant stand people who blame other people for things that happen...i just typed a lot really quick...i think that pretty much covers it

His parents probably live 20 min away from each other as did mine when I grew up. Even if his dad moved to florida that kid still has the money to fly him out there or see him whenever he wants. Sheckler sounds like a complete vag now. Some people are so ungrateful. I'll take the plane tickets to Japan and wear diamond earrings if the sponsors really need someone there.  |

| i think the show is based around his actual life, but the story is all scripted by mtv. the acting reminds me of when i had to make videos for high school projects. how sad is it that even reality tv isnt reality anymore. |

In general, I am beginning to think that the Life of Ryan is targeted to young school girls.
Finally....Rob & Big is some Hilarious S.H.I.T. Seriously, that stuff is television Gold. I am always watching reruns. Self-depricating humour never gets old.
