Hey there!

Recently I bought the motor from this thread:

I also bought several parts to build a winch. I've decided it's not worth the time/effort since I'm the only one going in. Let's just say I have bigger fish to fry Laughing

As you can see this is 70% of the parts for a winch. Everything but the engine is brand new in box and will appear just like you ordered it from the store(northerntool.com).

The engine is still in the same packaging as it was sent to me(very good at that). The owner before me took all the oil/gas out and it is still like that. It's a perfectly working motor but I just don't have time to mess around with it.

I'm very legit. For what it's worth I have a feedback profile(almost 200) on a site made for leaving feedback. It's not ebay crap feedback either.

Only know one other guy that might use it with me. Just not worth it when I have a $12k jet ski in the garage...

Plus, we don't have a ton of spots to hit around here like gaps and what not.

ya i understand, just sucks u got this far and now just turning around? a winch is just generally a good thing to have around, just think about it next time your drivin home from work at 5 and u see the glass ass little ditch/canal/lake/foutain on the side of the rode, then you kick your self in the ass and say "chickity china the chinese chicken i shoulda built that winch".... Smash

bmr712, these are the most common parts to building a winch.

The spool is usually preference along with the frame/rope.
