yea he can cash the check, but not stay in contact with you for a month, he just sent it because he saw these posts that said u were going to issue a warrant.

Business 101, GE ( general electric ) decided one day (due to a smart man ) to hold onto all their money an extra 90 -120 days instead of 30-60. The interest GE makes on holding this money increased profits for the company in a bug way.

People still do business with them and they always pay, you just wait or not do business with them again.

You have one very well know board maker on this forum who got screwed from suppliers this year. Shi t happens.

If I used paypal this would not have been an issue.

i like your outlook on this jacque_mehoff, i can see where these other guys are coming from, but if this happened to me i would have hoped for the best like you did. sh it does happen, its hard to make transactions online, even if you do it on ebay problems are going to arise in one form or another.

NotSoBueno, we are working on things right now, a few things must fall into place, but if we can make it by next summer we would be stoked.

sk8tehwake, If I get the deck with the fins I will mail them back to you.

Do you need a pair of fins? I am sure I have an extra set somewhere.

bobby211, I have a person trying to make sure the deck is shipped or he will ship it himself.

Just kinda waiting, If nothing happens, he leaves me no other choice than to file charges for interstate fraud. Felony because it crossed state lines, the next time he gets stopped they will see a warrant and he gets arrested.

I am still hoping he will send it because I do not like getting the police involved.

jacque_mehoff, the kid has done this before and will no doubt do it again. it makes me sick to think that a fellow wakeskater would do this to another wakeskater but i guess thats where the community is heading.

Mr. Top Hat, that is the worst part of this whole deal.

It's not the money, it's not getting the skate, it's what is happening in the community.

Hopefully, my guy on the ground in TX will talk to him and make sure he ends up doing the right thing.

I am very grateful for the kid ( a friend of his ) trying to help me out, I guess there is still hope.

I have never called the cops on a person before, and frankly, I dont want to now.

lol. y'all are funny. i never come on this site anymore cause i don't skate anymore but i saw this topic about my friend. ya its his fault for not sending it but he takes his time doing things lol. it just wasn't one of the first things in his mind i bet after he cashed the check. ya it is all his fault but he is going to send it. labellethrasher, lol your the one to judge huh? nice.....funny how yall are quick to beat down another. and ya i know he still had another issue with someone before but i dont know about that one. all i can say is use pay pal you idiots no matter what

dietwater5, all Dan had to do was give me an update. He was for a while and then he just stopped, that's when the concern came about.

As far as label goes, this is not kewl. Especially if I was a young kid who saved up all his money for his one and only deck. I would be going crazy. I have enough decks that this is not going to prevent me from riding.

And again, you are correct on the paypal comment. Plain and simple.
