first day, super slippery.

Ok, since my dad was gone almost all of summer, and living in colorado there is a hard winter, I just got to go out down to the lake today. I got up on my skate pretty easily, but man was it feeling super out of control. I got use to it, almost pulled a surface 180 b/s and a b/s lip. On the b/s lip I got on, but couldn't get off and I fell. Same with the 180, my balance got off going switch. I didn't get to try to ollie because every time I went to position my feet I would loose some control. I love the feel of the omen, my feet fit perfectly. Thats about it for now, im going to navajo lake friday and for 10 days I have time to practice all my stuff, but today I was really trying to get a good feel for edging and riding.

Just keep riding if you haven't wakeboarded before the more time on the water the better.

I had ridden a wakeboard before, and I think thats why it was so slippery, since the wakeboard had so many fins and molded in fins for traction. Yes its an omen revolt 40.5

sand down the variable edges. Make them rounder. It will make your board ride lower in the water and it wont be so squirrley.

conwest, Im not going to do that just yet, but I will think about it. I still think its just slick from me being used to the wakeboard fins. Once I got up it was fine, and I started to get used to it.
