The usual I suppose. Got the cops called on us, no signs said no skateboarding, some ass came out of a small buisness place and said he was the sign, cops showed up, took down our info and sat us there for half and hour just trying to make us fee bad, when they could have said dont skateboard here, please leave. I hate cops, go ahead bust the crack dealers, but leave the marijuana and skateboards alone, for the most part. Anyone else have this happen to them?

that sucks, most cops just have it in their heads that all skateboarders are disrespectful and are out to break stuff and just be bad people. a handful of skateboarders ruin it for every one else

This on kid, who fits this description, was trying to ride off of a stair, not 3 inches off of the ground, in front of a whole buttload of people trying to use the stairs. F_CKING POSERS!

provin1327, I'm saying there are too many jerks who give skaters a bad rap. I wear Adidas Sambas (indoor soccer shoes) when i skate, I dont need to wear bling, new era hats and all that jazz. Maybe I cant skate very well, but at least I dont look a pro, that in realitly cant skate. I wasnt talking about you though.

couple months ago me and my friends were at these softball fields next to our high school, not even really skating just kind of rolling around cause we didnt feel much like skating. some douche who runs the softball games there decides to call the cops on us, the cop comes and gives us a bad attitude right off the bat like we did something wrong. the cop got all of our information and our stories then he went to go talk to the douche, he came back and started sweet talking us like everythings allright just dont skateboard here and blah blah blah. i really dislike cops, i dont hate em cause they are just doing their job but seriously why do most of them have to be such aholes. and i also hate how we as american citizens cant address our honest opinion to a cop cause then he might throw some bs law at you like disrespecting an officer or something. BS

I just dont see why so many people are so harsh on skating, we weren't damaging property. I can see a nice marble ledge outside of a buisness district, never been skated, but an already trashed ledge (not what I was skating) in an old building no one goes into anymore, or a set of stairs where your not hitting the rail, its just doing no harm. For some its the only real sport or exercise they get.

provin1327, the problems is alot of guys do trash shizzle, and ruin expensive stuff then tell the store owner to F-off when they are asked to leave because they wanna look cool for the video that they are making, which is probably 10% skating and 90% getting in fights with store owners
