Anyone know what his run consisted of? I couldn't believe this when I read it.

...and more people bitching and whining about how the new format sucks. how many of you guys have gone to one of the PWT events in the past and stayed for the WHOLE thing on saturday AND sunday? it makes for a LONG weekend when you have unlimited riders trying to qualify on saturday.

reed didnt make the cut, oh well, neither did jd webb. thats life. they still have a chance to qualify for the next event if they get their application in quickly and ride well on friday before the comp. yes reed is an incredible rider, but if he cant qualify, dont blame the system, blame him for not riding well.

ok guys heres whats up.... jim didnt make it and aaron didnt make it, the conditions were so ruff, high winds and super choppy water, grey clouds all that stuff. everyone rode horrible, aaron fell 3 times and jim fell 3 times so did i, it was just a bad atmosphere but heres the gay thing about the format, reeds still in it, and will be competing in the next stop because hes "protected" and even tho i scored higher then him, i cant go to the next stop. but hes protected so its cool. and heres a tip, never try 4 foot high frontside shuvits in 25mph wind Laughing

rukusrider103, so you think its "gay" that the established professional riders get a chance to qualify at all the stops? quit being so bitter about the system and worry about your own damn riding not being good enoung to qualify you for the tour.

I know for sure that rukusrider103 is good enough to be on the pro tour. I think he is still emotional from a bad ride when it really counted. I would be bummed about it too if I knew I could do better. But, life goes on and we learn from our mistakes......

I think what he is upset about is he scored higher reed, but Reed still gets to compete. Theres lots of riders who are good enough to be on tour who didnt qauilify.

yea I understand there reasoning for the new system, just not sure that its the best way to have it done

Why don't they make it so that there are say 5 additional riders that can get invited to each stop. That way if you should have made it or you are killing it in other events during the season you have a chance to ride at a Pro stop. Even better yet, why don't they select the invitees from a poll put on this site before each event asking who should fill the spots.
