I rode mine this past weekend for the second time, and this is what I can say. The board sits deep in the water. It's harder to get up on, initially. I don't think that it reminds me of the Cassettes really at all. It is quite awesome once you get it working for you. The board essentially hydroplanes off the bottom deck (not literally). Your board is above the water line when shredding. This is very nice. Makes carving and slashing a dream. Also, pop-shove's are killin'. They are harder because you can't cheat. I rode with fins, so I really had to pop it good to nail the shoves. I felt like they were sweeter than on my skateboard. I really like this board with fins. I have not gone finless yet, so next week I'll let you know how that goes. I believe that the more pulls you get on this board the better. It hasn't quite lived up to my Omen Revolt, but I think that it might. Really, I've only got to ride a few times and I am still recovering from my leg injury. The board is KILLER in all respects as far as I can tell. Will post footy on sunday morning. Very Happy

I side-by-sided it with my Cassette bi and the top decks have virtually the same shape. It appears more exaggerated on the Devotid because the deck is so thin (like an actuall skateboard).

pastura, You can disassemble the top and bottom deck, then remove like you would any other board, or if you have an angled philips head you could go that route. Rolling Eyes
