Could you take the trucks off you skateboard and ride it on the water like a wakeskate?

it wont work, i tryed it last summer, all it will do is wreck the deck, but if you dont care its always worth a try, cuz maybe im just to heavy for it to work

wakebadass, u probably have to go faster than normal cause its gota smaller surface area

yea, we tryed goin faster and faster, it would just start to sink when i started to turn, it was so funny tryin to do it though, i was like half way outta the water yeallin faster.

I know people have used a snowboard and downhill skis so it cant be cuz its to heavy

xboard32x, a snowbard has way more surface area for it to ride on and hold u up so would that go into consideration also? Confused

I was thinking about it 2 but I would think there would also be a problem with your heals and toes dragging on turns after you got up....

yeah on a cable no prob. never tried it behind a boat. no tricks but the tail is awesome. about 6 or 7 laps.

I saw a deck at OWC and was about to ride it on the big Lake cable, but decided it wasn't a good idea just incase they were a 7 foot Black man and I water - logged his deck...he he Crazy Eyes

was it w/ or w/o shoes bolted to the the sk8 deck??????? mine were. prob. a much more dif if not.now it is a small wakeboard. but anyway try it

why dont companies just making wakeskate decks that are a little bigger and more heavy that normal 7 ply skate board like a thin 8 ply and like 9 inches across that would probably work well because you would have kicktail and sweet concave but with way less weight and just lenghten the board also but make it out of something composite
