hey, just wondering some info from a few people that have the new impuls this year...mine had the holes for the fins on the outsides bored out and the ones inside are not so the screws are not flush to the board. Was just wondering if everyones is like that?? Anything else going on with your board??

yeah I'll prob put some tape over it b\c I had an old LF flat deck that I used when I first started skating and fell and ripped a hole in my forearm from the screw not being flush with the board...so nasty! there was skin under the screw that came off my arm. So I'm kinda anal about it sticking up...ya know...

well I just cut the grip out a little and made them close enough to flush, just weird that they wouldnt bore out all the screw holes and just the ones on the outside...

The board is actually thicker (due to the kicktails) where the outside hole is located.
It isn't an absolute necessity that the screws be perfectly flush with the griptape. I've used round-headed screws a few times and I never even noticed a difference. _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground
