im planning on going to an art college at the beginning of next year and they have art institutes in just about every state so where should i go to get some good wakeskating scene?

i would love hawaii, i would give an arm and a leg to go there, but unfortunately im on a small budget

i agree with kento911, i grew up in so cal and live in florida now. i really miss being able to go snowboarding for the day

I live in San Bernardino, I go to Cal State San Bernardino, which is a sick place to Skateboard and I go snowboarding 3 times a week in the winter its like 45 minutes away the beach is like an hour and lake elsinore, perris and canyon lake are all about an hour plus the colorado river is 3.5 hours away

Check out lynn university its in south florida, brandon thomas went there, if you can bring a ski, there is a spectaular lake right there near it and i live 1 exit away. <3

Deciding where to go for College is a very important decision. So Cal sounds like a very good option. So much of one’s success in College depends on the people you attend with… Thus, a location with a thriving art scene that attracts talent seems like a good bet. If I was serious about art, I would go to NYC, Toronto, London, or any major metro area with a solid scene.

Juggling a solid education with a boarding career can be very difficult. I put snowboarding on hold for school, then got back into it full force. Huge respect for people who can pursue them both at the same time.
