Epik and 313 wakeskate shoes?

Do Epik and 313 no longer make wakeskate shoes? I have a pair of Epiks and after 2 years they are finally wearing out. I'd like to buy another pair of Epiks but can't seem to find them anywhere. Anyone know the scoop?

My friend used to be the SoCal rep for them and he said he no longer works for them because they were finished.

the 313 shoes are AWESOME, I have a pair and I love them to death, and if you hang them up to dry they do dry within a day. SUPER light and SUPER grippy, also VERY comfortable and affordable. My pair cost me $50, most bang for your buck for sure. The neoprene sock is super comfy. As far as I know they are still selling them.

313 is also out of business. I think we have some Epik's left over at OWC, in Perfski's shop. But I, personally, would not get a pair of Epik's. I had a pair a while back and I hated them, they felt like I was just wearing aqua socks. I only used them like once or twice before I gave them to my dad to ride in, and he didn't even like them, as well. I say just wear a pair of skate shoes instead...

you know its sad now that I think about it, that we had these two companys try to start just main wakeskate shoes, but they were forced out of business by reef, who i'm not sayin is a bad company, but they just kinda jumped in on the action, they already made stuff, but i guess i'm partly to blame bcuz i own a pair of byerlys and not epiks or 313's

wakeskate shoes are just a sham anyway. its not like they do anything better except dry out, the pros dont even wear them. you could wear a fresh pair of Iversons and be just as effective

I don't know papa smurf, I think I have to disagree with you. I much prefer wearing "wakeskate" shoes when I ride. They don't hold nearly as much water and are much lighter and easier to swim in. I got tired of putting on the same cold moldy skate shoes every time I ride. I have a pair of Epik's and liked them a lot, the only problem I found was that the rubber could be a little grippier. I also firmly believe that it helps to wear a skate specific shoe(skateboard or wakeskate) because it provides the proper support and feel for the ride.

Can anyone compare the Reef's to the 313's?

sorry I can't compair the reef to 313's...but if you can't find the shoe you want go with the reefs. I love my pair.

i know for a fact that 313 is still in business. i talked to them last week. they've just been busy moving factories and changin numbers.

yea after using a normal pair of vans, and then wearin my reefs, its much easier to swim and stuff in the reefs

ill take some pics of my reefs that busted after 4 months pretty shoddy but they were great while they lasted
