Wow.......another thread about this question? Confused
This topic really gets beaten into the ground.

Some say that skating without fins is cheating, because it lets you get away with not popping your tricks, i.e. initiating lipslides or shuv's without doing an ollie first. These folks usually go on to point out how well fins help you land W2W tricks, which does make sense.

Others say riding finless is just as legit, and it actually forces you to have better board control, since edging without fins takes a little more finesse. I prefer to ride finless, and I have to admit that I do find it a bit discouraging when people on these boards imply that you must suck if you ride finless.

fins.... well, technically "keels".... like a sailboat. great for choppy conditions... accept i gott pop my shuvs 7' high. it's the only legit way to ride Smash

if i had fins to fit my integ then i would prob ride fins but since im dont and i dont wanna drop any money on fins i ride finless.
