I would love to build a winch just because I love building thing but I can't understand how it is worth it. How long does the ride actually last. It just seems like so much work for so short of a pull. ??? I guess it does give you the ability to ride in places where you can't get a boat. Is it really that fun? Does anyone winch near Lake Houston. I would love to check it out before I build one. |

I know it cost me about 100 bones in gas to take the boat out for the day So I guess I could see that point. I think I am going to build one. Does anyone manufacture them? |

lake tarpon , Just looking at your set-up makes me want to leave work right now and go winching all afternoon.
Heres 5 reasons Winching is better then boat or PWC:
1. Cheap as Dirt after the initial cost of your build
2. Landgaps, drops, beach, and glassy ponds in your backyard(if your lucky)
3. Winch Operating is easy, only takes one other person, and you don’t have to worry about the boat/pwc driver that can’t maintain a good speed if his life depends on it( I dunno about you, but I think this one of the most frustrating things to happen when riding)
4. Winching adds consequence to wakeskating….
5. There is no Limit to the amount of people that can come ride, and watch
I Winch for 4 hours on about $1 of gas. |

best weekend and bday of my life. |
