do you have foam or grip tape top?
My last skate was a catalyst with the foam top and I had the same problem. Grip is where its at. you still get a solid grip, but your not glued to the board.
in short...foam sucks |

Most skates the foam just peels right off. I know mine did on my Byerly. Some people say to leave it out in the sun for a while first so the glue loosens. But just get a corner started and see if it peels easily. _________________ "It's like there's not enough pants where there need to be more pants." |

i find after you get more comfortable riding it becomes easy to move your feel around. When i first started if i landed a trick and my feet werent perfect i would bail. now i can land tricks with feet together and recover from there, it just takes some getting used to and understand how to control you board when you only have 1 foot with weight on it. _________________ www.levelthirtn.com |

i find that if i just duct tape my feet where i want them before i start my run then i don't have to worry about repositioning them. and i can do w2w inverts and i don't have to worry about doing ghey grabs or any of that garbage. |

spend as much time on the board as possible, Grip isn't going to make that much of a difference.... _________________

jk
you should be able to pick your back foot off the board for a quick reposition... and "shift" your front foot back and forth to move it to where you want it. that'll work... grip or foam |

| Hmm...just position the feet back and forth until you get the comfortable position. It's like positioning the feet on the skateboard be it ya wanna do varial kickflip or sick pop shuvits. Hmm...I never liked foam top though...at least with grip tape, ya can get it regrip after it's seasoned. |

I also found moving my feet around really hard in the beginning. Someone (air-on?) told me to stand just outside the wake (like you're doing a re-entry trick) and it helped a bit. _________________ 01/20/2009. Niko-chan! |
