currently got a LF anthem 40", thinking about getting a new board, I like how the wood decks sit in the water, but i would like to get a composite, are there boards like that out there? I also like the concave, it might just be me, but with the foam top i kinda feel like i have a little less feel for the board, so to sum up, im looking for a composite that rides a little deeper in the water than a traditional composite, concave, grip tape. oh, and where are some good places to buy. _________________ I run show where ever I go. |

Get an Omen, it rides nice and deep, grip, composite, exactly what you are looking for.

ImSoWakested, omens are awesome but dont ride like a lf anthem at all. not in a bad way, but you not an exact match of course. vinyl and legacy are good composite choices. i personally love integrity when it comes to composites but i think it takes a lot of board control to enjoy them. and gator make a couple composites as well. |

JamesBoardr, im not really looking for something that is a replica of an Anthem, but ive ridden boards that ride way high in the water, i didnt really like that too much,(but then again this was when i was jsut starting so it couldas just been me) can you elaborate on what you mean with the integritys needing lots of board control? _________________ I run show where ever I go. |

ImSoWakested, well. integs ride really high in the water, even when you sand down the rails. but i personally love it, not all the time but its just a lot of fun. i think they really make you ride in a proper position, with you center of gravity in the right place. and its like if you do that no matter how you spin the board you can always ride away. this is true with most wakeskates but integs are super light (at least the ones presently, cross you fingers on this years model) and its kind of tricky getting use to how responsive it is to tricks. but honestly, i have not ridden a board that is as much fun as an integrity, its too much like skateboarding.
but ALL boards are good in some way. some are better at different things because of the way they are made. good luck. hope that helps |

ImSoWakested, this is the best analogy I could think of.
Anthem = Geo Metro
Integrity = Porsche _________________
