WELCOME, ive got a LF anthem, its concave foam top, it was relatively cheap, think its a pretty good starting board, hasnt broken yet, of coarse you can spend 300 and get something really nice but i dont know much about that _________________ I run show where ever I go. |

Wood decks typicaly sit lower in the water which makes them a little more stable too, just food for thought _________________ I run show where ever I go. |

yeah.. buy new.. don't go ebay. they'll be pretty chewed up on ebay.. depending on your skills you can get a good beginer board for around 150 - 200 and be good for a while.. _________________ Wake it up.. |

alright your right around me.. you'll be able to ride just about anything.. i prefer short as i have a 38.5 inch board.. to start you'd probably want around a 40-41 inch board with removable fins.. that way you can try out with and without fins.. and till you get your see legs you'll be good with the fins.. as for the length 40-41 would allow you to progress.. foam or griptape top would be your call.. _________________ Wake it up.. |

shoes you get better grip.. and if your trying bigger tricks where your landing hard it can kill your feet landing barefoot on foam.. _________________ Wake it up.. |

Ride with shoes! Like its not even a question. w2w Will destroy you. And so will other tricks. wear shoes. and grip is much better. not so sticky. You can move around more. _________________ "Love the Life you live and Live the life you love" |

normal skate shoes work pretty well.. i have a pair of ipaths with velcro.. they work real well and i haven't lost them yet.. but if you wantt to spend some more money they have actual wakeskateing shoes.. waste if you have a few old pairs of skateshoes _________________ Wake it up.. |

bonz, dude go grip, no foam. wear shoes. wood's are heavier than composite... composite is more bouyant, wood snaps off the water like a skateboard.... personal preference, but i like wood better. i wear reef byerly's for shoes... they work... i'm not hardcore supporters of them, but they work for me _________________
