When you push down your back foot should you be lifting your front foot at the same time or delay it a little? |
same time bro so the board will lift up as soon as you push your back foot down. _________________

| Ok so when you go to level off the board is it like pulling yourself forward and having your back foot left off or is it more of a push with the front foot? |

What has got me is the idea of the ollie. Surface tension aside, I'm convinced when I stomp my back foot that I'm gonna sink down in the water and slam. Is it as simple as focus and forget your on water and just go for it? I keep hitting the proverbial "brick wall". _________________ http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/ |

savagegarrick, Well i mean think about it... you're on the water already. You're probably leaning back a little bit while just riding, and you probably have most of your weight on your back foot anyways. Of course when you put your back foot down it's going to "sink" a little bit, but that's how you get the pop. You're going fast enough so that when your board goes into the water, it wants to pop back out. Just give it a little kick and pop right out of there _________________ - Evan Molina |

Yes! Today I was out with T-rex and we were with a buddy on his boat. I was rockin' an older Phriction board, and I just barely tapped the tail and kept emphasis on the nose and apparently that did the trick. . Not quite sure on the height but I pulled a couple. I've passed over now though and will hopefully start to progress. _________________ http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/ |

| dude no challenge i ollied the 1st time i wakeskated ever ... not to take for granted i used to skate but honestly.. i push my front foot down a little take your backfoot heel off a little then stomp down hard on the back at the same time lifting your front foot . it will hit your front foot as you lift the back..(or should) then i mean pick your landing.. |
