I guess hyperlite made a new board called the vinyl, is it mad sick? Whats it made out of? Sorry I haven't been around for a while.

I friend of mine rode one recently and just wasn't feelin it. I'm kind of let down about the concave myself. I was kind of hoping that it would be a Byerly-esque concave, but to me it feels more like a Catalyst (112cm). I don't think I'm gonna be a fan of that sharp rail, either.

It does sound like most people like it, though. It's nice to see what HL is doing with their wakeskates. I can't remember the last time they did anything that created as much of a buzz as they have with their Byerly and Vinyl decks.

andy ross, not at all man....If anything it's a mellower version of the new Byerly....Not quite as exagerated kicktails and such

Its called the VINYL cause Brandon Thomas is a Disc Jockey (DJ). I think his name is DJ DROP TOP. Its his pro model board. Does any one know what type of music he spins, or where he spins at?

strplss since 1983, Ive heard him do some stuff at events, but as far as I know its just a fun thing for him in his spare time makin mix tapes for friends and stuff. Don't quote me on that, cause if he spins somewhere, count me in.

its such a nice board, pops awesome and i came from riding a flat deck and once i bought this board my first run was like crap and i was like man im not a huge fan, however the next run out i was landing shuvs like nothing and they were clean and popped which is wat i like it makes u pop and the landing is wide so u have room to get ur feet on it, little things like i/o 180's and stuff just seem so much nicer, and from a video aspect u can see the deck very well and its very bouyant, im a huge fan
