i was lookin at wakeworld's wallpapers so i clicked on team liquid force's wallpapers and found this... can someone please explain?

i think he should get on liquid force, and do his own thing like byerly to hyperlite, just let him have his own team and boards.

Yea, they used to be a branch off of LF like LF's wakeskate company under another name. Im all for that, Thomas might as well have a big company support him and let him do whatever he wants with the boards.

RUSSIAN, liquid force made cassettes boards till 03, in 04 cassette broke off and got a new company from china or something to make their boards, and they could not make the boards last long, and here we are now

skatewake41, russian knows what he's talking about, so there's no need to try and teach him cassette's history. Cassette was its own thing and was never Liquid's company. There was a distribution deal and I get the impression that scott crumrine from LF helped out here and there (based on an interview). And it was early in 03 that the deal was broke off between cassette and LF because of liquid's "situation", so cassette was completely on their own for most of 03.

and I think labellethrasher is exactly right.

Yeah I remember LF was just the distributer for Cassette for a year or two, then when that deal eneded LF suddenly had a line up of wakeskates that were the same size and shape as cassettes.
