So yesterday I fizzle up my back pretty good strapping, so now most of my summer will be spent skating (less impact) Twisted Evil

I can do shuvs in the flats, but I've been trying to pop them off the wake and then catch them and come back down (reentry???)... any pointers?? Its been awhile since I've been out of the boots

Thanks for the help guys, I'll try and get some pics/vids of my attempts of this weekend up here.

you dont have to spin it as hard, cus you could pretty much get away with landing 90, and re entry has more pop

I really haven't found that they're any easier to kick around than your standard flats shuv. I've landed WAY more re-entry shuvs at 90 degrees, and I've also gotten some serious whiplash because of it.

Try your best to pop it at the top of the wake...if anything, I think that does make it a little bit easier to kick it around (but again, I have not found any method that allows me to put in any less effort in order to land the trick). For me, I also had to focus on not letting the wake screw me up...I'm kind of about riding with a rhythm and the wake was just another distraction. But outside of that, they really are similar to your standard flats shuv.

make sure you stay level too, its easy to lean back too far on re entry

i find it easier to ride parallel for a second with the wake before popping it..first time i started trying them i kept throwing it too far in front and landed on top/inside of the wake
