ok so I would consiter myself a beginner/low intermediate wakeskater - i am learning to jump the wake which gives me enough troubles but i want to get my 180's and 360's down in the flats and dont know what the problem is - it seems like such a beginner trick but every time i do it - i only get the 180 then am nervous returning to regular snatce or eat...well..fall.
I can butterslide and lip slide pretty well but when i pull a 180 in the flats and try to re- enter the wake I am NOT stable. It seems that I can not get my feet repositioned and end up catching an edge - which is never fun - do i have to shift my weight from back to front then back again or keep it consistently flat all the way around - i ride an '07 maven and have a 43" impulse and the 43" impulse wide - would it be easier to learn on one of these boards? fins? 2 fins? i am just tired of seeing the videos where people do it without struggle. any help is appreciated.
thanks!
