I say this to the general snowboard public. WIDEN YOUR SNOWBOARD STANCES!!! You guys got skills, but a wider duck stance will make riding rails easier and look better. Everyone always says..."shoulder width apart." That is BS. A wide duck stance will feel wierd at first, but once you get use to it, it's the only way to jib.

Watch Chris Dufficy, he rides a nice wide duck stance. It is the only way to ride rails and look good doing it.

Incorrect again!! Lumberjacks, Vikings, Samurais, and Prize fighters are all real men with knowlege. They can K-O suckers with a single left hook, imprenate women by raising an eye-brow, eat beef jerky, and kill evil doers. In short, that dude who set-up your board was no lumberjack; rather, he was a member of the retarded mountain-folk clan known as "hippies".

Every ski resort has those f*awking tools. Most of them are Australian and can't snowboard good. They just get basic ski-resort jobs so they can smoke pot all day. They've been told: "To find out if someone is regular or goofy by pushing them from behind, if their left foot goes forward, they are regular" and "snowboard stances should be shoulder width apart." Both of these things are false.

The point = make your snowboard stance almost mirror your natural wakesurfing stance and then extend it width-wise by 2 inches. This will improve your snowboard style ten-fold......trust me!!

jonnyUTAH You speak the truth! I lived in Vail/Beaver Creek for two years. The ones you refer to as hippies were called granolas where I stayed and the f*awking tools weren't from Austrailia, they were from the northern neighboring country and called Kiwis Very Happy

Sick snowboarding. Way to take the water skills to the snow. Widen up the stance next time and demo a board with some decent bindings and you'll be able to ride the big pipe. Come to WI anytime during the winter to get your shred on.

I hearby admit that five years ago I was guitly of the hideous crime of having a narrow stance on my snowboard. I got sorted out by someone nice who I ended up marrying. That's how important it is...
