Im pretty sure there isn't even a Vinyl at Hyperlite Canada yet... I could be wrong but usually stuff takes longer to come out in Canadian shops than in the US..... Ask your local Hyperlite dealer.... |

Beaver, no...
mc.willz, It would be cheaper for you to buy it from the US.... Canadian shops dont just add exchance rate to the price but they seriously largely over price there skates..... It would be much cheaper for you to get it from Wakeside.com |

parky, wow you're not kidding.
The shop I work at was selling the Karma for 299 last year, and even though that's a tad pricy, one kid had a whole freak out at how it was 100 less than anywhere he had gone before... |

parky, depends if you get worked on duty or not. You are right though. I forgot how much they jacked up prices here, I have never bought a skate from a shop here. |

even with brookrage/duty it will be cheaper.... I saw the Legacy at the boardroom this weekend in Vancouver and it was going for 450+tax .... thats compared to 250 US + exchange and maybe 20 bones in Duty.....
still cheaper |

mc.willz, wakeside is a great way to go.... if you placed an order on Monday it would ship by 4 oclock that day (shipping is free btw) .... I think it would probably come to about 270-280.... not totally sure
but put it this way, it would be cheaper than any Canadian shop plus.... you would get the skate you want NOW, instead of waiting for them to arrive in Canada...

if you get it from the states you will pay 40-50 bucks on brokerage/duty(sometimes they dont bother charging), but you will still save close to 100 bucks buyin it there rather then here in canada. plus you dont have to pay shipping at wakeside. im not tryin to take sales away from canada but thats definately the way i would go |

If you are in Canada you will have to pay shipping from wakeside. I ordered my Vinyl on a Friday and rec'd it on Tues for under $300 US. I try to support my local shops whenever I can but I was not willing to wait months to try this skate. This whole Interweb Googletron thingy definently makes it tough for the local shops to compete. |
