i have been riding finless for a while because i have been winching in really shallow water. when i decided to put my fins on there was a space between the board and the fin. my dad grinded the fin down little bit to make it fit better. i dont know if i dented the board or anything. my main concern is that the skate wont track right through the water. do you think the little space will affect that? the middle part of the fin is in contact with the board it is just a small area on the smaller part of the fin that is elevated a little

It sounds to me like you need to grind the screws down a bit. Either way..........tighten up!~
