Coming to Tampa

I'm gonna be in Tampa for a conference all of next week. For anyone who will be riding in the evenings, I'd love to get a pull. I'll be staying in the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel in the Channelside area I believe. If I get to ride while I'm done there, it'll be my first trip out this season. The water is still in the high 40's, low 50's here in Denver. Looking forward to meeting some guys from the forum and just enjoying the warm water and weather.

What days will you be down? Mon-Fri? I'm about 45 mins away from there and we ride in the evenings.

MrMarbles, I'll be in town from Mon-Sun (14th-20th). My aunt has a house on St. Pete beach so I'll be staying with her on the weekend. The conference is at the hotel so I'm not gonna have a rental car. I might be able to borrow my aunt's car for a day or two.

Do a google maps on Winter Haven to see how far it is. I don't think I have anything going on that weekend besides riding!

It's about 50 miles to Winter Haven. That commute during the week around rush hour might take a little while. The weekend sounds like a better option, so I'll try to line up some transportation out there and hopefully I will be able to meet up with you.

If anyone else rides close to This Marriott in the evening during the week, I'd like to ride any day.

Anyone riding in the Tampa area tomorrow? I can bail on the conference in the afternoon. I'd love to be able to get a pull in so if anyone will be out let me know. I can use my per diem to pay for gas.

MrMarbles, are you still planning on riding in Winter Haven this weekend?

We're definitely riding tomorrow if you wanna make the drive over. We will more than likely be riding this weekend sometime, either Saturday afternoon or Sunday.

MrMarbles, I don't think winter haven is too far from me.. probably like 45-55 min.. we should ride sometime.. what do you have set up over at your place? any rails? any spots for my winch? haha

Sutley, thanks for coming out. I had a blast, despite having to use an old board and doing 3 different splits, ouch!

lake tarpon, we've got a 99 pro air on a private lake which is glass as long as no sea-doers are out. No rails yet on my lake, but we have access to some around town. We can def find some spots for your winch!
