I used to pull with no spotter, my pops would just put both legs and one side and look front to back.....we got numerous tickets...we finally bought a legal mirror and had no problems.

I got my girl Dollie, dressed up in some gear...hat, shades, hoodie and a slightly pale complexion to ride shotgun if I need her Rolling Eyes

man i have THE WORST ticket story.

last summer i'm pulling my buddy on his sea doo, and we get pulled over because he's riding vestless.

the cop writes him a ticket for that, and then i got TWO tickets. one for no spotter, and another for not having a boaters safety certificate which apparently you need in arkansas to operate any watercraft

those 3 tickets were $200 each.

Damn.

In WA, boating tickets are pretty small i think.. Getting pulled over for towing and not having someone to flag in the boat is $70 instead of $130...

I have some great pics of a dummy spotter we made out of boat fenders, an old wetsuit and a wateringcan (for the head)....

The dummy looked pretty good, probably would have saved us a ticket if a cop had seen us.

I hope these pics work... I'm not sure how this works.

brohymn07, what do you mean by boaters license? we got pulled last weekend and they asked for everything you mentioned, but nothing about a license.
