Haha I just got in a funny arguement with this girl who thinks the beach is better than the lake. There is no contest, I'm sorry. This is my point of view. Unless Im surfing or skimming, I limit my beach visits to a minimum. I love being able to get out of the lake without feeling like i have to go straight to the shower. I asked her "so what do you and your friends do at the beach?" and her response was "lay out and swim"...which you can easily do at a pool or on my boat  haha. Although I sometimes winch at little beaches.. but even that is annoying.. I hate a sandy, rusty winch.
Beach:
SAND+Saltwater=Gross Car.
Long Drive
Seagulls/Food Theives
Creepers who Videotape, Pass out Business Cards, Have no game..
Horrible sounding boombox's with Horrible music
Muscleheads who think they can play football and get sand all over you
Paying for parking
Cops are hardcore about drinking on the beach
Boat:
Clean water
Good Music
Comfy Seats
No Birds
Cute Wakeskaters
Cooler full of brew
Free
Relaxing
Needless to say, she agreed to come out on the boat after I proved my point. Haha.
Lets hear some of your guys' opinions on this...

| Chris Barcellos, damn cali riders, haha. I wish I had your wave conditions. Yes Florida has waves (East Coast Rips) and yes Kelly Slater came from here, but there is still no comparision to Cali. |

the beach makes your balls rash up and gives you cottom mouth and dried lips. more people die in the ocean from sharks and rip currents. the only thing the beach is good fro in my opinion is shore side restaurants.

i really love goin out on the lake, if i got a nice boat and some close friends.....
but the beach is pretty sick too. just depends on the weather and conditions and who i'm with... but i love both. |

the only thing i'd like to do is hit a beach wave straight on before it crashes and go flying up in the air, you'd get soooo high!
but other than that, lake all the way, but i've yet to experience the cable park

Tad what girl are you talking about? She must be a she-man cause you like guys 
If i had to pick, ide pick the lake any day. For one the drive to the beach sucks. The parking sucks. The people there suck. Sand sucks, and saltwater sucks.
The drive to the lake takes less than 10 mins, the water is much cleaner feeling, and most of the people on the lake dont suck. You cant wakeskate at the beach, and im pretty sure if we winched on clearwater beach we would get kicked out within 30 secs. |

| i like my river. i have salt water, i have freshwater, i have a local sandbar that people party at, and i am within 3 miles of the beach for whenever i want to go. |

i love my little creek... always butter... canbuild whatever rails i want... and all the mud is great for exfoliating your skin  ... plus the girls can lay out in my backyard and watch and my dock is perfect for taking vid/pics
