Matts V-flip rewind

I think it might be a varial casper flip...but that rodney mullen-esk trickery is mind boggling. I was watching his on video section today (because of matt's mind boggling feat) and half of his super old stuff is...well...of bill brasky proportions.

anyway, i was just wondering because rewind is such a rare term in skating, and in wakeboarding, it's all about the misdirected spins. (watch the vandall, yall! He'll spin a 3, go back 1 and steal your soul, too!)

ok i think everytime i get on here im reading about a new trick he has pulled off but no footage....light bulb, can someone please start filming the guy everytime he graces the water hahahaha just a thought. congrats on the new trick and hope to see the footage of all these new tricks one day

Yeah, I don't think rewind is right either. Casper sounds more along the right lines. Sounds sick, i can't wait to youtube the footage.... Twisted Evil

i wish some of these people would read the whole thread before asking "what hand does he hold it with" and "does he flip it with his front of back foot" because these questions have already been answered Evil or Very Mad

i do admit i thought it was the same thing too as far as the "rewind" idea goes, like he did a varial flip and turned to switch kind of like as he was landing. but apparently yeah it's like a half varial flip to flip back or somethin. cant wait to see it

NaRC-P rider, just because he does a varial flip doesn't mean he stops it with his front foot and flips it back.. thats what i was confused about.. i read the whole thread and no one seemed to know what the trick was... hence the reason i asked that..

but yes he does flip it back with his front foot, i asked him when he told me about it yesterday

hey guys I think you know what it was but just to clear it up, here it is. I threw it just like a normal varial flip like that was all it was, but when the board is at full shuv but upside down, i took my front foot and kicked down like a half of a late flip. so you stop the board from the direction its spinning and it spin half flip the other way. (oh yeah you only hold on with you front hand there is no wrappin or passing) thanks all you guys for the motivation and support.

thanks. the only reason I didnt think it was a casper is because i thought you foot was under the board on casper. why dont you guys go back a page and check out the link to haslem part on you tube. its the trick at 1min 5sec.(oh yeah guys im sorry I dont film enough I seriously film like 5% of the time wich is probably the reason i dont have all my tricks the way I want on film, I just have so much fun riding I never care, then I land somethin good and im kickin myself. dangit. the wake2wake double flip I had charged the camera and was planning on it, but left it on the counter with my pet duck)

itallpointsWEST, i thought casper was when you flicked it back with the top of your foot too.. either way congrats on the new trick

im sick of hearing everyone complain that they hear about new tricks and get mad because no one posts vid but this quote sums up my viewpoint
