Why do you skate?

Why do you skate, what makes you want to go out everyday and ride. What is your driving force? For me I would say it's just the fact that when for that moment in time I don't have to worry about girls, money, school, job or anything. I don't know I guess when I out there time stops for awhile and I feel in control of everything for awhile. I don't do it to please anybody, I do it because for a part of my day I don't have to deal with the above drama that so many of us have to put up with. I make it sound like my life is tough, but it's not. I pretty much have everything catered to me. But I still have to pay a bill or two, I have all the other bulljive that I was talking about. For me it just calms me, it's like vicodin only more expensive, shorter lived and more effective!

logan, ya i ride for pretty much the same reason.When im out there on the water i just feel like im somewhere else and nothing matters but having fun.learning tricks and stuff is amazing but when i land a trick it just makes rideing more exciting but even if i have a bad run im still having the time of my life as long as im out there.:)going with a bunch of people is fun cause u can encourage each other to try new tricks and stuff,but my dad pulls me alot too just me and him which is chill..but out there on the water it seems somehow like magic how problems just drift away..and all i think about is the board and me rideing on top of the water..

i love wakeskating.

I ride cause I like being on the lake, and I like skating. So its like a combo, and its cooler than sitting on the couch.

Because someday in the future I will be an old man drooling all over myself in some crappy rest home, and then I will be dead for a long time after that. Wakeskating is one of those things I do that reminds me I am alive.

i am in it for the money, fame, glory, and reconginition...why else does anyone do anything? Oh yeah and nothing is more fun than wakeskating, nothing at all.

because.......im the only one around here that just skates..... which i enjoy having my own little retreat.... kind of like a country cottage.... in some form... i think
