haha so yesterday it was too choppy to skate when I went with a few friends who don't normally ride and they wanted to see me wakeboard. so I did for the first time in moonths and it was still too choppy to be any fun. after a while I thought of what I wouldnt get hurt on and could make a fall look decent so I went with a switch w2w 180.
I came down fine but the front of my board bounced a few times and i didnt let go and my front knee just shot up to my chest with all my weight on it........and it hurt.
got in the baot and I can still walk (this was yesterday) but one part of my knee swells up when i bend it all the way. and I can't really put a lot of force or pressure on it. Ive had this kinda pain in my knee before but it sucks.
anyone else have this?? and what did you do to try to make it go away |

I went wakeboarding for the first time in 4 years last night. I have terrible pop on a wakeboard, I dislike standing up straight...
But take it easy, ice it a little bit, and take some anti-inflammatories... _________________

yeah that was my initial plan.
it feels like i only lost range of motion because of the swelling.......is that a good thing? |

actually, it helps if you cut off your leg right above the knee. Then you won't ever have to worry about knee pain, ACLs, range of motion--you'd be as free as a bird! _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |
