Just picked up a byerly legacy 39 today!sick looking board. It has so much concave to it. Cant wait to try it out!!ts heavier than i taught it would be, but thats good because composite boards are usally light

Yeah man I had a chance the other day down at TSR to give that thing a ride, it is amazing. You feel like so secure on it, mostly cause of the concave I tested out the 39 which is a little small for my taste if I had one I'd go the next size up, but the kid whose board it was was throwin kick flips and when i left was almost landing varial flips, so yeah its a nice board good purchase.

I dig them graphics... they kind of seem to hearken back to the first graphics Byerly had with Hyperlite. The 2000 Byerly 137 is still one of my favorite graphics of all time.

I went to the local shop and got a 39 to demo for the week and ended up not even gettin to ride it. My friend told me yesterday when we got off the river that he was taking his boat to the lake. Well we get out there and he gets in the water to go and I had him up for a minute or so when the boat starts spuddering. then it wouldn't start. then it started so he asked me if i wanted to see if we would have any luck and of course i said yes. only got my knees out of the water before his boat died again.

I am not planning on keeping this board or anything but i still want to ride it so bad. Everything on this boad is so exagerated(sp?) so i think bt's board will be on target.

Dude the legacy is great w2w. So poppy. I love it. Its so easy for 3 shuvs too. The kick tails are extreme at first but you get used to it. Dont worry its a great board i ride the 39. w2w 180s are a sinch.

HA! I'm not a pot fan, but even the possible subliminal message in the graphics Laughing doesn't phase me- the colors just seem to lock together and "pop". And it looked even better in person.

I rode this deck all afternoon yesterday and freakin' loved it...i was skeptical at first, then after i was on it for 5 minutes i just had a sH*t eattin' grin on my face....i was on the bigger one (however big it is 42/43?) He said he was gonna make a skate with the truest skateboard like feel and i believe it...That deck is sick, the kicktails are sick, the concave is sick, the pop is dope, and the weight of the board really locks you in when dialin' in shizzle w2w...I was grabbin' that thing all over and stompin' the other side of the wake as if i was on a wackboard...VERY NICE!!! I pretty much felt locked to it the whole time riding, not to mention had a pretty clean, smooth set for bein' on that gnarly thing for the first time...it really gives you a bi-level type ride/feel cause the deck you're feet are on is a different surface area than what is actually shredding the H20....I really like what Byerly has done here and be sure to see other manufacturers start to follow in his footsteps in the future...i think i'm gonna go pick one up, and it'll be my 'composite' deck...to come to think of it, i've always rode wood, that was the first composite i've ever stepped on....LeGacY nO DoUBt!!!! Yikes

Does the byerly have about the same side to side concave as the cassette bi-levels.

royGbiv, i just guess it's personal preferance, just like every sk8, but i liked how it rotated and how it felt w2w...i can see how once you get used to it, dialin' in you're favorite trick becomes effortless...i really like the concave on the sides of the deck for gnar leverage...

it feels extremely awkward at first, there doesnt seem to be a comfortable place to put your feet. once you start spending a little time on it you begin to get used to it and its a pretty fun board to ride.
