It looks like rink board, the stuff hockey boards are lined with. It's not trex, trex comes in lumber sizes like 2 X 6 etc.

It's probably something like HDPE (High Density PolyEthylene) It's the stuff used most on cable park obstacles here in Germany and holds up forever while being fairly gentle on the boards.
You guys might also like the fact that it's made by Cadillac Plastics

We used to use HDPE in pyrotechnics. The stuff is crazy, it won't crack, shrapnelize, or throw off pieces. Only with lots of heavy explosives will it melt and/or split the ends.
