| im looking to get a new vest for the summer and ive narrowed it down to these 2, and i want opinions of ppl that have these or had these or tried them on or anything. i like their look the best, its just with the a-10 ive felt one before like a long time ago my friend had one it was an older model and it was pretty light and i wasnt restricted by it and was pretty hard so if i took a fall i had the impression it would take some or a little more of the impact and the only downside to me is that it didnt keep me afloat at all, now with the outlaw i really like the look of it and i like the neopreme so that way it looks more cga but i dont know if its heavy or bulky cuz it kind of looks that way but pics can be deceiving, and im not sure if you have as much mobility in it as you would in the a-10. a plus to me is i think it would keep me better afloat but i could be wrong. these are the only 2 i like i dont really like the heliums although i know alot of ppl on here do, its just not my personal preference. so any input would be great. |

i dont like the vapor, i tried them on before, and it comes up too far on my neck, like if i were to look down like tryin to do something its like semi choking me. i think im going to get the outlaw, i really like the look of it. theres a local shop around me that carries oneill vests and imma go there this week and see if they have the outlaw, i know they have gooru and vapor, but im prolly gunna check into the outlaw.
edit: by looking at pics of the oneill law and outlaw, im gonna have to say that the outlaw is just the comp/non-cga edition of the law vest, therefore being the "outlaw" lol |

i use the a-10 now. I like it a lot. Its comfortable, and floats me just enough to keep my mouth above water I dont know why, but side entry vests just feel better to me. _________________ integrity-wake.com | chriscut.com |

My vote is for the O'Neill Outlaw. I hate all of JetPilot's non CGA vests. Might as well not wear anything at all. I would trust my life to my O'Neill Vapor, not so with the A-10, I've had too many sketchy moments on the boat when people were wearing A-10's and got hurt. _________________ The aforementioned postings and musings are the opinions of myself in their entirety and are not the opinions of wakeskating.com |

I love my jp a10! The fit is really snug and it keeps you above the surface... The protection is really good too. I personally don't dig the gooru, it doesn't stay down, keeps moving up towards my ears... And the protection feels like next to nothing. So, even though I haven't tried the outlaw I stiull sorta recommend the a10, just because I like it so much. Don't know if that's any help though... _________________ 01/20/2009. Niko-chan! |

| If you want a jacket that is the least restricting and not bulky at all go with the rip curl stealth vest. I was looking at the oneill's and the a-10 but I went with the stealth. the only downside is that it is not as boyant as some jackets. the problems that I found with the oneill's was that when you fell feet first they would fly up your body and ride up alot. I know people that have fallen and the jacket blew right off of them. I have never ridden the a-10's but they were not as comfortable as the stealth. which ever one you go with you'll be happy cause they are all nice vests. |

| I'm sporting and Outlaw this season that I bought from Parky. I think it is the most comfortable vest I have bought to date. I have a Law as well and it really is just too big to skate in without feeling like an oompalooopa. |

| Try on an O'Neill Gooru on. No buckles or zippers, very comfortable, and it floats well. |

I was getting ready to post the same thing. I have an A-10 and a RipCurl Stealth, and have had a few other vests, but love the way the Gooru fits and feels better than any of them. Feels like a T-shirt. _________________ Sattelyte Wakeskates

| i went to my shop today and tried on the outlaw, vapor, and gooru, and the only one i really liked was the outlaw b/c it fit right and i have alot of movement, im not held back or anythign and it has nice big openings for you arms to move around. the vapor i didnt like b/c its too hard for me to get it on and off and it rode up on my neck when i looked down like if i was going to throw a trick, and the gooru, it isnt enough for me, i feel like it isnt protective enough and again i dont like the over the top, i like either side entry or front. so when i got home i ordered an outlaw. thanks for all the input though |
