I rode finless yesterday on my rail board................ and for those of you dont know I ride fins and am a big supporter of riding with fins.....

Any who..... here's my playing around run... shuv, shuv, shuv shuv shuv.... laugh.... 3 shuv, 3 shuv..... laugh...... shuv on laugh off, shuv on laugh off..... shuv on laugh off, shuv on laugh off, board slide shuv out laugh, b-slide shuv out laugh.... FS shuv laugh.....

my point is this...... IN MY OPINION (so you nazi's dont attach me) riding finless CAN BE alot easier and alot cheesier...... Anyway, take your fins off and ride now and see what you think.... It will make you feel alot better about your FIN riding....

PIRATE, you should be made the wakeskating dictator and demand that all manufacturers make wakeskates with fins permnantly fixed into the board, that way no one has the choice but to ride with fins. Instead of the fish police giving out tickets for no vest it should be tickets for riding without fins. and you could use wakeskating as your platform to conquer the world. I can see a bright futrue for you...for the record i ride with fins

This whole fin vs. finless arguement needs to stop.

Remember there are people who DON'T GET TO RIDE as much as you 'pros' do...with or without fins. And you may be angering them by just talking about riding. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

I am such an avid fin fan, that I even got rid of my skate. Try riding just fins, no board. Very liberating. Very Happy

PIRATE have you always been two fins or die?

did you try any tricks while you were out w/out fins that you normally can't do w/ fins? or did you just throw the easy ones you mentioned that you can do either way? What if you can land a ton of stuff without fins on that you can't even imagine being able to do with the fins. and if it was so easy....I gotta know....did you ever even fall or did you just have to toss the handle from exhaustion?

It would be interesting for you to post footy of you doing each trick twice. Once with fins and once without so we can see the difference. Just a thought.

when riding fins, u just have to put more effort forth when throwing tricks IMO

labellethrasher, i threw the tricks that you see...... And honestly all that stuff was a line, I didn't fall, i hit a rail twice and my hair didn't get wet till I got on my fin board.... Honestly, It felt cool i'm not hating on it or saying that riding finless isn't fun...(dont, we always have this talk ?). I'm just saying I deffinetly noticed a HUGE difference.

The first trick i did on my fin deck was a shuv, I through it all lazy just like how i did on the other board and it seriously spun 3/4 of the way aruond and I had to Cheese d!ck pivot thingy around to land and my front foot was half off.. Then i woke up through it again and landed clean....

i think that your idea about doing finless tricks and then fin's would be cool.... I might do that in a week or two.... shoot it from far away so you cant tell which board is which then throw : shuv, fs-shuv, Fs-Big, 3 Shuv, bs-Big. and then ask what everyone thinks , was video "a" fins or was video "B" fins ? that would actually be pretty crazy to see if other people could tell a defference.
