Just got back from my first day out!!

Hey guys,
Just got back from the lake and my first trip with the wakeskate! I was super stoked to finally be able to try it out (been sitting in my room since Dec). I took a few runs on the wakeboard first, and it was kind of hurting my back, so I figured before it hurt too bad I would pull out the skate and give that a try.
I popped up on my first pull and it felt awesome! I was surprised because there were no stresses to my body, my back was fine while wakeskating. I took 6-8 pulls and let my friend try it out. Took him a few tries to get out but he did really well too. Went for some more runs when he was done. I'm too out of shape to get a full days worth on the board, but I definately spent more time on the skate then I would have been able to on the wakeboard.
The board was a lot looser on the water then I expected, but it was also a lot more fun. I can't wait to get some more practice with it.
Anyway, just wanted to share. Here a a copuple pics from the day too.

I was out at Lake Sonoma today. Weather was perfect, the water was a little cold but we both had shorty's to wear so it worked out fine.
I really want to make it to the next Convergence, I've seen pics of the others and it looks like a great time. Is there a date set for the next one already?

That sounds good. I can probably make it for Friday, don't know if I can spend the night or not. Is it a kid freindly environment? We have 4 kids (2 boys, 2 girls, ages 6-13). I'd bring my own boat as I wouldn't expect anyone else to have to take them on thiers. I think my log in over there may have gotten cancelled. I'll have to check into that.
