maybe they called it an 05 since the true 05s were more of a mid season release or something...the mags may have called it an 05 as well. but that board (the gray one) came out in like july 04 along with the tolstoy. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

one difference between the 04 and 05 team is that the 04 team has a durasurf top and bottom, where as the 05 team is all PBT. It was basically a pro model construction with the some what generic team graphic. The lemons model Has all durasurf (top and bottom), and the 06 nick taylor has a durasurf base and PBT top. I'm pretty sure 05 is where they introduced the strategic use of more fiberglass in their boards for increased stiffness and more centerweighting. I don't recall all of the details, but I want to say that they were using twice as much fiberglass as "the industry standard." Just to avoid confusion, the 04s were centerweighted, the 05s were adjusted even more so. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

I can't see it being worth more than 150 shipped for a used 04 board...it looks like its going up pretty quick. |
