Get well soon, it really sucks to have an injury that bad, but getting run over by a bus you're lucky to be alive.

Bad to hear dude. Hope all goes well!!!

Take the rehab seriously. Like religiously seriously! If I hadn't after breaking both legs last year I wouldn't be riding anymore.

Get better soon

Thank you to everyone for your support Sad This has been really hard already, and I agree with what a lot of you are saying. I am so luck to be alive. I had a second surgery today to close up some of the wounds, and have to go one more time Thursday. The people at this hospital have all been very supportive. I will get better for all of you. I will pick up the pieces. I will keep everyone up to date in my posts and replys... Once again, THANK EVERYONE HERE FOR YOU'RE SUPPORT, YOU GUYS ARE PART OF MY FAMILY.

Andy

*sending wishes of a fast recovery*

Make sure you get some good exercises from a physiotherapist or something, and follow them thoroughly! That's gonna make your recovery a lot faster!

Hey I don't post here much, but I was sadden to here your story. My suggestion would be to take the rehab serious, when I broke my elbow skating the rehab is the only reason i have full movement back now. Stay positive, you'd be suprised at the power of mind and body. Never think you won't skate again, think to yourself how much fun it'll be to skate agian and you will want to get better and rehab. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Never say never.

E.C.

That sucks man, I also broke my tibia and fibula... I ended up with a metal plate and like 9 screws holding it all together. The surgery and downtime sucks but I'm sure you'll be back on the water before you know it. And definitely go to physical therapy! You'll be really stiff and weak once you can take the walking cast off but the therapy will get your range of motion and strength back. Plus chicks dig gnarley scars and guys with crutches so use it to your advantage Evil or Very Mad

UPDATE
Just to let you all know, I am getting out of the hospital today. I have been here for 10-11 days. Doc says I am gonna recover. Probably won't ride this year, but next year should be wide open. It has been really hard to accept that I won't get skate, or wakeskate for so long. It's kind of like getting a prison sentence, but it's not. I will still be able to root my friends on and chill at KCWatersports beach. I am sad I can't ride but glad that I have survived being run over by a metro bus Smash
Still, I have to say, getting out of here feels like the first day of summer, or getting out of juvee. It just feels unreal. I wish everyone the fattest season and I will be watching close so I can join in next year and rip it, doing the greatest sport ever invented, wakeskateboarding!!! Laughing Laughing Very Happy Very Happy
