The Projects will be hosting Scott Byerly's Toe Jam Wakeskate Invitational. The event will be an invitational of ten riders with two open spots per class filled through a pre-event qualifier.

Yeah....this is goin to be some sweet action. I wish I could attend. You know that sh.t will go down at this event. With the riders and the location, it's a given. I loved the high ollie contest's that the projects has hosted. I wish the wakeskate one would have been beer instead of red bull though. Who's everyones picks for the 2 wild card spots? I would like to see Steve and I don't know how much Gore has been riding but that would be nice.

I, too, think this sounds like a dope event. They're basically having everything everyone would ever want (and everything people suggested to wwsa); a boat run, a seadoo rail run, and a best trick event with the winch. That would be so much fun to watch...

As for the WC, I couldn't even predict who would be there...I'm sure there's a lot of florida talent that I dont' know about. But gore would be a good rider to fill one of those slots...I like what I've seen from his stills, and he's basically been killing it forever.

WC-I would like to see Kyle Hyams and Ty Benfield in it, but that is just my down south pride talking.

that is awesome that we have been tryn to get most of the same sponsors to support a wakeskate series and have had no luck.

I guess I am just a bit jealous because we have been tryn to get this series put together for the last 8 months and had no cooperation or intrest in sponsoring a wakeskate only series or event.

Any how I am glad that it is going to happen even if it is not one of our events. It is almost exactly the same format (minus the cable part) that we had pitched to companies.

I hope it is a great event and everyone is stoked about it. Because I think it will show that there is a need for a wakeskate only event or even a series.
