| I didn't say if your sponsored your a sellout! If a company is willing to pay your way then fine. If you get a discount to agree to support a companies vision (Contract Consumer) your a sellout. |

Nope.
Contract Consumer Its like paying someone to let you advertize for them. The company expends no capital ($$$$) on you but you agree to help them make money off you.
When your sponsored the company expends capital ($$$$) to help you to reach a goal that puts you in the spotlight thus helping the company to make money off of you.
See the difference? |

| ya but everyone advertizes for a company. if u buy a casset board and go skate it and ppl see you on it your advertizing it there too. so really a contract consumer is jus some one gettin a discount on something other ppl pay full price for. |

A Contract Consumer Buys what the company of affilation is selling without choice.
A Consumer has no affiliation to the company and can decide what they want to buy based on there own choice. |

i would sign a contract with hyperlite, LF, cassette, kampus, obrien (traffics), or 484 and as long as i got good discounts i wouldnt ride anything else. IDK bout the rest of yall but i dont really care what kind of board im ridin as long as it rides good. i dont really care about "special little features" that slightly enhance ur ridin... i.e. assyms, i dont care bout grip or foam, dont care bout rocker, or length or width or thickness (ply), dont care bout wood or composite... i just want a rideable board with a low price tag... my 2¢ _________________ √

haha, yeah its good in asense but to some people it doesnt work for them. I myself can get good deals without some sort of sponsor thing and its good deals on likebasically everything so to me its stupid to go for something like that. _________________ oh great now i have ink all over the screen |

Catalyst, the bad thing about this Consumer Contractor is that you can buy one company's product and only that companies.
I wouldn't really say your sponsored Parky. More how jd described it "Contracted Consumer", the company is still making money off you. I have a shop that gives me 10%-20% off merchandise, does that mean I'm sponsored by them? I dont think so. _________________ Llamas are better then Alpacas

You fools never cease to amaze me. I can only hope you realise the errors of your ways before you grow up and are unleashed on an unsuspecting society. _________________
