				TheLeprechaun, Seconded.

It's cool that you have a unique frame design but that thing looks like it could fall apart any second. Especially the spool/shaft. I'm not even sure where that idea came from but you should look into fixing it asap.

I dont think its that bad, I would just highly reccomend welding pretty much everything that you bolted together, bolts will rattle out of that think and then somebody might get hurt, and also I gotta agree with pirate on the be careful about not weighting it down, he and I saw a dudes winch with a similar frame design go right in the lake in about half a second

				| C-WAY Crew, I have a lot of faith in things that dont look structurally sound . Just ask nick taylor how i aquired a dollar from him. What im trying to say though is that i think the winch is going to hold up just fine in my opinion.

LOL...the winch still actually works, but needs to be defibrilated regularly. I'll be getting a new motor for it here soon. And it needs to have the Frye cleaned off it.

SkateForce, the bearings are connected to the spool...it acts kinda like a wheel..the shaft is fixed into place

kento911, i agree with the welding but for now i have lock washers on all the bolts wich prevent the nuts from backing off from vibrations
