old yamaha waverunners

i test drove a 94 waverunner and it wasnt very fast and didnt have a very quick start. I am not very fimilure with these skis. are old waverunner powerful enough to skate behind? What could be the problem with the ski,having a slow start?

it could just flatout suck......or fuel filter could be old and gnarly....alot of things

does a grand sound like a good price for a decient shape 94 waverunner.

Yes. Get new fuel lines and filter put in it and take it in for a check up and you should be good to go.

i<3wksk8, I ride behind an old VXR and I love it. Definately get her all tuned up, new lines, filter, gaskets, fresh plugs, clean the carb, the whole bit and you will be pleased. What CC is it?

i ride behind a 1993 pro vxr 701 cc, it pulls like a beast, but it has a skat impeller, boysen reeds, riva exhaust. it goes 55 mph. i got mine and the trailer for $1100.

im riding behind a 96 sea doo its a champ. NEver had a promlem. Its my baby. Adn then their my boat:D Very Happy

so pumped for this season.

i was gonna say i agree withche blanc & jesse about replacing the old lines that could be fallin apart and gettin everything tuned up.. plus all of that wont be expensive .. after that get to shreddin
