kneldog, Hey bro, try cutting out into the flats heelside.............hard enough to catch a little slack. Then booooyaka, pop it and spin it, throw it out in front of you; but also throw it towards the boat a bit. If you're not getting enough spin......try moving you're back foot towards you're toeside edge. good luck lucky.

make sure you flaten off the board right before you pop it.

i found it a ton easier to learn shuvs on the wake than in the flats. after i got them down i learned them in the flats. it might just be that our boat puts up a massive wake Confused

I learned them by cutting far into the flats, but if you want them to look better i would try them kinda closer in, maybe even re entry. When you get more slack it slows you down and, while making it easier, it also kinda messes with your pop too. Whatever works for you i guess have fun man, don't let it frustrate you at first Smile
