I think the nikes have true leather uppers, good for skateboarding, but stinky and brittle after getiing in and out of the water a few times. Go with something that has synthetics, like adio quests.

you shouldn't say that Nike doesnt support wakeskating... Nike 6.0 and Silas Thurman (team manager) supports some of the best... Matt Manzari and Nick Taylor are both on there pro team... not to mention all the people that Silas hooks shoes up with, including myself! ... Lets not forget about the fact that Nike sponsors the Hippodrome!

so yes... I would say Nike supports wakeskating

parky, you can choose to spend your money where ever you want. i just think that there are companies out there with people who care more. they sponsor stuff to make money. they started making skateboard shoes because skateboarding is popular and they knew they could make money. so they sign all the best skaters and throw money around sponsoring things. that's not support, that's advertising. and apparently it's working since you guys are spending your money on it. just a thought, didnt mean to step on your nike loving toes.

TTUFAN24, I deffintly understand what your saying. Nike is in it for the money... duh. But thats not saying they dont make a great shoe. Ive rode adio,dvs,and 3 pairs of reefs, and i just got me a pair of nikes, i just like trying new things out. likspyder, Pick whatever u like, if u stick with wakeskating youll probly go through more then 1 pair of shoes.

-=AlexXx=-, i never said they were good or bad shoes, i personally have never worn them. i wash my shoes with fresh water after i ride everytime (because i was my vest out) and i think it has really made my shoes last longer. IMO
