I am awaiting my Devotid Uninon right now. The movement looks like it would be real heavy. I have an Omen Revolt that is pretty weighty, but the shape is so sick, and I really like the 5-stage. Perhaps that would give good indication that the Movement, having a lot of the same characteristics would be a sweet ride. I will leave feedback on the Union as soon as I get it.

I love my cassette. I just don't want to break it. It is A Reeds pro model, so I have to get a different one, besides the Union's supposed to be bulletproof. The pop is different, not necessarily higher. It feels more like an actual skateboard the way it conforms to your feet and movement. I really prefer that effect. You also feel like you are above the water, cause you are. This height advantage, if you will, makes for the coolest feeling on the water. Try it, I swear you'll like it if you have a skateboarding backround. They are heavy, though. Shocked

YES. I don't think it is heavy in a negative way, but especially considering that my first board I rode was a Catalyst, then I bought an Armada, it does seem considerably heavy. I do, however, like that weight as it gives me the inertia I need to keep the board.

DirtyCracker, The Devotid Concave is a amazing deck i say so myself, if you think its gonna ride a certain way, well your completly wrong, even with it being 8.5 lbs, i swear it feels super light and floaty, i love how Kev layed up this design, by far the best/most complete concave ive ever rode. Its got a very smooth, yet super responsive REAL 5 stage rocker and like the Union, its bullet proof. If you like to skateboard and funny thing I can barely ollie on a skate board, this is the one IMO besides the Devotid Union which feels even more like a skate board.

The Devotid Union on the other hand is a whole new board this year. More than 3 lbs lighter it feels like its 10lbs personally. The new design still brings the "bullet proof" strength to it, yet being lighter. Whats more interesting about it that ive never noticed on any other bi level is the concaved tips on each it, it brings a certain snap you skateboarders love off the concrete and makes shuvs and 3 shuvs effortless.

ah i guess when i get my tax returns back im just gonna have to just buy a new movement and union. i have am on my 3rd liquid force control its super fun board you can pull all kinds of spins on the wake but it just seems like poor construction. i gouged a huge hole in my just ollieing onto the end of rail lol. i toor the foam grip off to find it moist underneath and holes and scratches all in the top of the deck.

DirtyCracker, I talked to Kev the other day, he has 07's Unions in now, we just dont have the pic on the site yet, he is still doin his thing, very busy dude i give him great respect.

edit: forgot to say that he has a deal goin on for the bi levels, its for the first 20 i think or something that if you break the top deck, you can get another top deck for $40 bucks instead of the regular price. I still havnt broken one yet...

I uploaded some pics of the 07 Union that Kevin sent me when I placed my pre-order.
Check this thread about two thirds of the way down. There is a comparison shot of the 06 next to the 07, and a side view. They look sharp! I can't wait to get my hands on mine...

^^ aw no pics of the base. Yea if you are like one of the first ones to get a devotid skate, you get a free t-shirt and free shipping (pretty sure, maby that was only for concave) but yea they usually throw in some stickers too Smile and if you want the D logo on the concave grip like on the bi level, just ask and they will throw it on there Smile
