It's sad to me that erich had to let mutiny go because they were both synonymous with each other. Whenever I heard mutiny I always thought of schmaltz and now mutiny is just a name without a face....and that name seriously went way back...ironically starting at the beginning with "mutiny on the bounty" (alla yalls will have to research that one) to the mutiny barge that sailed the seven seas of boardstock 1...and now it's not even his...

Parky, I really hope you are joking, but I get the feeling you're not...

So when Erich and an undisclosed partner restarted Mutiny last year, they each held up an end of the company. Erich's pal Number two (that is what we'll call him for now) apparently sold the Mutiny name to a larger "X-treme" sporting goods company. Hence the fact that they now make skateboards, snowboards and wakeboards along with wakeskates. So when people say Mutiny is dead, they are right. Now it is a corpse of its former meaning, held up and animated by the corporate strings it once opposed.

You should wait and see what he'll have with integrity. He is no longer a part of mutiny and that is why everyone dislikes "version" of his former company.

because mutiny is not mutiny it is a stolen brand name witch has nothing to do with its founder erich schmaltz. erich started mutiny almost ten years ago and now through some shady deals it has wound up in the hands of evil. the board you rode was yes a very good board but a board designed by erich. lets see how good the next batch of boards will be. who do you want makeing your skate, someone who changed the face of our sport or a washed up old crooked business man...
