Hey to all.... I need some advice/info/pointers/whatever you want to call it, on a skate for me... I know that most of you are rocking the 41in or 42 in... and your weights not over 185.... that presents my problem... im 6'6 and weigh 280... any board suggestions? im in the market ive been riding an older hyperlite scape and have pretty much torn it up and wore it out... im wanting one of the higher quality advanced boards but need some help on which.. im the only wakeskater i know around where i live and yall are my source of information... if you could help it would be greatly appreciated... thanks |

6'6 ???? Dang!!! I hope that you play basketball?!
There are a ton of good board companies, and you have come to the right place. You should get a lot of good suggestions.
I can hook you up with a deck that is good and wide for someone with a plus size 13 foot. Check your PM.
You want to go with something wide. Kampus would be good, but I don't know if they have concave decks yet? I could be wrong. _________________ Life's Kredo = "When the snake falls in love with the spagetti it's time to buy a new hat." & "I guess I need to whiskey up these corn flakes..and heroin up this Orange Juice." |

While I'm not quite as big as you, I'm about 6'3 and 185ish. I ride the Catalyst 112 and it's agreat board for me. I've tried riding the 41's and 42's but the 41's were just too small for my preference. I also have a size 13 foot so that was another reason the the 41's didnt work for me.
Best thing t osay is try and demo what you can to see what works.
Also I have a cousin who is about your size as well, 6'6 230 something with a size 15 or 16 shoe. He can ride my Catalyst 112 no problem but hes not the most graceful of people so hes still working ollies but mostly just rides to launch himself w2w. _________________ Scuba Steve's Wakeskate Film Libray
