| I am set on a bi-level and have narrowed it down to a 2006 cassette 42'' D. Hampson, the devotid union 41'' or the akonite bi-level. i am about 6'1 200 and i think the 41'' might be a little small i ride a 42'' right now and it suits me great. I want your thaughts. |

not to mention the best warranty hands down. no run around there.
i also think the durasurf bases will make such a heavy setup pop/ride sooo much better. makes it real fast on the surface. |

mine has no signs of delamin at all even though ive smacked it against this dock couple times and dented the wood literally, its weird for some reason after you ride it couple times with that dent in the wood, it seems to go back to its original shape, i shizzle you not _________________ Helium - Devotid Wakeskates - Anarchy Eyewear |

-=Alex=- made a review about the akonite bi level.
Quoting him :
Kevins bi-level is killer, no offence to the cassette one, but it deffintly owns it. It spins with ease its not quite as heavy.
Its got CRAZY pop and its very forgiving, say if u land heavy on nose you can ride away easy. I liked riding it and i think i could get used to it for sure.
Its interesting the top of it is made of fiberglass instead of the casstte with the wood which was constantly snapping. over all its a great board.
Quoting him again :
indeed, very good, best outa the 2 bi level boards i have riden
Hope to see other reviews of that akonite. If you guys live near WPB you should def ask kevincalvez to test it.
Unfortunately you will be able to pick up this board not before end of March 2007.
We will manage to get a pre-order form so we can see who want that deck and where in order to organize the shippin the best we can. _________________ http://wakecity.free.fr

I have a Devotid Union and that thing is a tank, literally(16lbs) . I think if I got a new bi-level it would have to be an Akonite, due to its weight, 10.5 pounds. But close second would be Synergy, for sho... _________________
